Biography:
Nina Sofo is a composer, musician, singer and music educator.
Based in Melbourne, Nina teaches music in a private Bayside school and works as a session musician and freelance composer creating performance pieces, jingles, and of course ringtones. Nina has composed music for orchestral ensembles, choirs, children’s songs and songwriting in the jazz genre for which she has a great passion.
An international artist, Nina has performed covers and originals with a number of bands ranging from corporate events to private functions, Tribute Shows and solo performances at premium venues.
In 2004 Sofo Combo was formed to explore and celebrate the jazz idiom. Nina has recently completed a season as solo pianist/singer at the Sofitel Melbourne and currently performing shows at venues around Victoria.
