recorded in my studio at the Abbortsford Convent, Melbourne. The work is a combination of found sounds and stylised samples.
Biography:
Working as a Melbourne based Sound Artist Carl's practice uses sound design for composition integrating the ways in which sound is organised in the main areas of Sound Design for Cinema, Sound Art Installation and Radio Soundscapes.
Carl has had commissioned work installed at the Federation Square complex, performed in Nextwave and Immersion festivals as well as exhibiting work in the Liquid Architecture sound festival. He has also exhibited at Linden St Kilda Centre for Contemporary Arts and Conical galleries in Melbourne and has had his work exhibited in Cologne, Germany and San Francisco.
Carl has a degree in Media Arts and a Masters degree from RMIT in Sound Design. www.itchyacoustic.com
