Strip For Cash are a Melbourne 5-piece band featuring the songs of Nick Batterham. Their debut, self-titled album is overflowing with roots and retro-influenced guitar, underscored by subtle country rhythms. Taking the Stripš idea seriously, Strip For Cash record all their music LIVE, including vocals. The result is stripped back and honest. Heart-felt ballads with chunky tones - it sounds real because it is.
Nick was formerly co-songwriter in 90's band, The Earthmen (ARIA nominated for best debut album in 1997). He works as a composer and sound designer in film and television.
