Members of Papa Chango sat in on the session and included Matt Bird – saxophone, Ania Reynolds – percussion, Tully Sumner – guitar and Ben Street on trumpet, percussion and vocals.
Ben is a multi-disciplinary artist/musician who has performed and exhibited with a wide range of musicians and artists in Australia, China and Sweden.
Humour has an ambiguity that I am interested in. Ringtones are now becoming like haircuts, we associate the ringtone with the socio-political position of that person. Though I like it when you see that big scary looking guy on the train essentially emasculated when his phone rings. Suddenly he becomes a big teddy bear.
